Beautiful day, lots of sun. Generally 6" to 8" of snow in the open areas with some places of only 3" or 4" in the trees. Drifts in some places to 2'.
We went up the hill at the toilet junction instead of taking the level road on the left. Basically, we took the western leg of Natasha's Web instead of the eastern leg. This shortened the hike by about 1 mile although we got the same elevation gain. Much easier going up the road than our usual route up through the steep meadow.
