Got off to a poor start on this one. Parked in the usual spot but walked straight ahead on the trail as opposed to going back to the road and up around the gate. Took the trail a couple of hundred yards before deciding to bush whack up about 80 feet to the correct trail. Managed to return OK to the cars.

Question came up as to the derivation of the Hitt Road name. Goggled a bit but didn't find anything.
