Since there was very little snow on Mt. A we headed up the Mule Mountain trail instead of the previously scheduled Grouse Gap snowshoe. Turned out to be a beautiful day for it; sunny with temps in the high 40s.

The trail has sustained some damage in the middle section from a horse which broke off the outside edge of the trail in many places. And the Buck Brush is doing very well, at some points nearly closing together across the trail.

As you can see from the pics, not much snow on the Red Buttes at this point.
