He'll be doing some travel packages in Oaxaca and Guanajuato next winter. I've done the occasional bit of work (writing, beta testing, vacuming...) for the good people at the World Wide Woodshed. Their audio slowdown programs for Windows are pretty neat (with Mac versions on the horizon... maybe? Please?). The latest offering, SlowBlast! is a $20 audio sampler/speed control program that eats those $80 handheld phrase samplers for breakfast. Their site has lots of goodies (including an article by yours truly in their newsletter: "Woodsheddin'").

What a zesty and unique bass-related site is this!! I particularly like the "amusing basses" section where they have some real stinkers (& a few beauties) on display.
