"Office Space" comes from the genius
mind of Mike Judge, creator of "Beavis and Butthead"
and "King of the Hill".
The storyline feels a tiny bit like a 2 hour, non-animated "King" episode, which is a very good thing. Like in "King of the Hill", there are moments where the satire is so savagely dead-on, I was howling with laughter. Like "King", this movie manages to be both mercilessly sharp and gentle and friendly and down to earth at the same time, in a way only Mike Judge can deliver.
If you have ever spent chunk of your life in a cubicle, or wrestled with asinine office politics, or wondered where America is headed with it's epidemic of corporate dysfunctionality, you HAVE to see this film. I promise you will laugh.
